Jay Kulkarni founded Theorem, Inc., in 2002. Over the last 12 years, Kulkarni has been the driving force behind the company’s extraordinary expansion.  Prior to founding Theorem, Jay was one of the earliest employees at DoubleClick, where he headed up product management for advertiser solutions and email platforms. Having seen firsthand how rapidly the internet advertising sector was developing, he knew brands and businesses would have a deep need for tailored tech and operational services to support their growing digital marketing efforts.  That realization inspired him to start Theorem and continues to fuel his passion for researching cutting-edge technologies and innovations.  Leveraging his knowledge of the market and ongoing research, Jay has propelled the development and evolution of Theorems agile solutions, designed to bring value and sustainable growth to brands across a spectrum of industries. As a veteran in the online advertising space, Jay is published by several leading trade publications and is a participant in the digital marketing conference circuit.

Chris leads Theorem’s finance functions with a strong background in financial systems, operational accounting, budgeting, business modeling and implementing process improvements in both finance and other key business areas. Prior to Theorem, Chris has held executive roles in digital advertising with Intent Media and the fitness industry with Equinox.   In addition, he was the founding partner of Praxisphere, a consulting & advisory firm providing transactional support services.

As Head of Account Management at Theorem, Michele is focused on delivering effective digital media services across campaign management, automation, marketing cloud, data technology, and creative services to some of the biggest brands around the world.  Utilizing her 20 years of experience working at agencies and leading in-house marketing teams, Michele understands the complex needs of in-house marketing and operations teams. Working across many industries including publishing, entertainment, CPG and non-profit organizations with a portfolio that includes brands like Pandora, LinkedIn, Pepsi, Disney, Marvel, Random House and Scholastic, Michele brings a deep knowledge of identifying pain points and developing solutions to help driver performance, efficiency and revenue for her clients.

Anand is an IT Services industry veteran with over 27 years of experience working with companies like Thomas Cook India, Tata Infotech Ltd (now Tata Consultancy Services), Wipro Technologies, and Tata Interactive Systems. Prior to joining Theorem, Anand managed India Delivery as a Chief Delivery Officer for Ness Technologies India PVT Ltd.  Starting his career as a Software Engineer and eventually pivoting into Delivery Management roles, Anand has been involved in various strategic initiatives including Innovation activities throughout his professional tenure.  Anand has managed customers successfully for long tenures, managing and growing a variety of customer types including large Fortune 500 companies.  He is passionate about utilizing technology to solve customer pain points and he believes that value-addition is one of the key tenets in any customer engagement.

Head of Marketing and Digital Media Strategy

Reem brings deep experience in media planning,  client services, communication strategy and account leadership. Her strategic perspective earned her opportunities to work on global clients, become a member on a global content strategy board and lead prominent award-winning campaigns. 
During her career, she has established a strong reputation and affinity to driving strategic brand integrations, delivering data-driven omnichannel strategies and content solutions while keeping client at the heart of all marketing efforts. 
She worked at Publicis Group for 11 years heading Integrations, Content Strategy and development in addition to Social and Influencer Marketing across the group agencies which includes Zenith, Leo Burnett, Publicis Media agencies and Saatchi & Saatchi. She worked on some of the most reputed brands such as: General Motors, Samsung, Spotify, P&G, BMW Group, Mondelez, Nestle, Puig, Essity, Kering, and Swarovski to name a few.

Mark brings over 25 years of business improvement experience from his background in Quality Assurance Management to the people side of Theorem. As a true people champion, he took the sum of his unique experiences and pivoted to Human Resource roles where he has spent the past 15 years integrating continuous improvement practices with HR functions such as talent development, recruitment, and employee engagement.  His extensive professional career has allowed him to work with clients and partners such as IBM, DELL, AT&T, and McDonalds, and he has achieved accolades through business recognition initiatives with SHELL, IBM, and Michelin.  Mark is dedicated to integrating new improvement strategies in HR at Theorem to develop human talent that will meet the demands of tomorrow’s technology.

Unni is a highly experienced digital and tech expert with over 20 years of experience. He has a strong background in defining strategic directions for digital transformation and innovation, focusing on customer experiences, digital functionality expansion, compliance practices, and competitive strategies. Unni has successfully led teams in redesigning customer journeys and digital touchpoints across various industries such as retail, media, entertainment, CPG, automotive, pharmaceutical, banking, financial, and airlines. He has developed programs for digital transformation, customer experience, digital marketing, eCare, CRM, and more. Unni has a proven track record of creating digital verticals, implementing agile ways of working, and achieving long-term revenue growth. He prioritizes building strong client relationships and delivering creative solutions that align with their goals. Outside of work, Unni enjoys spending time with his family, reading, listening to music, watching football, and scuba diving.

Francisco Escobar

Global Controller - Finance

Francisco is our Global Controller, responsible for finance-related tasks including accurate and comprehensive financial statements production. With a strong background in accounting, auditing, consolidation and FP&A, he brings a wealth of experience to his role. Skilled in implementing and enhancing controls, his innovative approach led him to introduce analytics and data visualization reporting using Tableau.

Prior to joining Theorem, he worked for renowned pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, where he played a pivotal role in establishing Global Finance Shared Service Centers during Zoetis’ transition to an independent public company. Francisco’s expertise extends to end-to-end processes within the realms of record-to-report (R2R), procure-to-pay (P2P) and order-to-cash (O2C).

Besides his technical proficiency, he embodies Theorem’s client-centric and collaborative culture, excelling as a collaborative manager who drives positive change and consistently achieves results.

Meto is a tech-based nonprofit intent on making access to quality higher education a reality for all students. We have a special focus on creating scholarships for low-income students.


In 2018, Meto was founded to connect African students with university opportunities. Along the way, we have learned that all students can benefit from our innovative model, wherein universities make the first move and invite good-fit students to apply. So, in 2023, we opened our platform to students across the globe.

            Nikhil Badlani Foundation

            The Mission of the Nikhil Badlani Foundation (the “Foundation”) is to enhance the lives of underserved children in West Orange, NJ and neighboring communities through music lessons, scholarships, and traffic safety education for all.

            Since the Foundation was established in 2011, Theorem has consistently been an annual sponsor of and team participant in the STOP for Nikhil 5K Run/3K Walk. This event intends to raise traffic safety awareness and to serve as a way to remembervbgfc ≈ and honor those who have been killed or seriously injured in traffic accidents. We recognize the importance of raising awareness and road safety amongst teenagers and parents alike, especially in the local communities of our Chatham, New Jersey office. The vision of Black Girls Code is to empower girls of color, ages 7-17 to become innovators in STEM fields and encourages them to be the builders of their own futures. The Anti-Racism Fund serves as a response to the inequities experienced by the African-American community. It provides monetary support to a dynamic portfolio of curated organizations as a way to inject and enable social change.

            For more than 5+ years, Theorem has supported Covenant House with corporate sponsorships, leading career-building workshops at their Newark, NJ shelter facility and participation in the organization’s fund raising Sleep Outs. Covenant House utilizes these Sleep Outs to raise funds and help shine a light on the injustice of youth homelessness, inspiring communities to step up and protect the vulnerable.
