Serving 500+ Million members, LinkedIn is a social network that specializes in business and employment connections. The platform is mainly used by employers searching for candidates and job seekers looking for their next career move. The client offers various content marketing solutions to brands and employers on the platform. These solutions add value to their strategy, creative, and optimization of campaigns.

THE CHALLENGE:

Expanding Creative Solutions

LinkedIn wanted to further expand creative solutions for their content offerings. While the platform offered several advertising solutions, they needed strategic liaisons to collaborate with brands in an effort to drive client performance by better understanding their unique needs.
 
In addition to more strategic campaigns, LinkedIn wanted to provide participating brands with trends and insights across campaign performance and creative execution so that they could further optimize their social marketing strategies. To implement all of these capabilities, the career networking giant turned to Theorem for help.

THE SOLUTION:

Delivering Beyond Social

Working alongside the social network and their clients, we developed several pilot projects, testing various strategic and deliverable executions that could become viable offerings. We developed a dynamic creative optimization package that included content strategy, social post creative, landing page design and development, and campaign management. 
 
One of the network’s end-users, a software company, hoped to gain deeper insights from the performance data offered on the social platform. Through a discovery process, we analyzed dozens of campaigns and A/B social post sets. A blended team of creatives and data scientists was able to identify how certain content types performed across various audiences, as well as which creative techniques resulted in higher conversions.
